Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 September 2025

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Tourmaline Academy’s website and services, including online courses, training programs, consulting, events, tourism services, and studies. By accessing our website or registering for our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our website or services.

You must be at least 18 years old to register or purchase services. By using our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Registrations

Registrations must be made through our official website or authorized channels. Once your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation within two business days, please contact us at support@tourmaline-academy.com.

By registering, your details may be added to our database so that we can share updates, offers, and promotions. You may unsubscribe at any time.

For online courses, login credentials are strictly personal and may not be shared with others. Unauthorized sharing may result in suspension of access without refund. Some courses have completion deadlines, and extensions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Payment Terms

Full payment should be completed at least 15 working days before the scheduled event or course. We accept payments via cash, Stripe, PayPal, and bank transfer.

All displayed prices exclude applicable taxes, duties, and transfer charges, which remain the responsibility of the client. The cardholder must retain a copy of the transaction records and abide by our policies.

If participants wish to pay in a currency other than euros, the amount will be converted based on the average exchange rate on the day of invoicing, plus any applicable conversion fees.

Cancellations, Postponements and Refunds

If you cancel within 24 hours of registration, you are entitled to a full refund.

All cancellations and postponements must be requested in writing. Requests made at least 15 business days before the event will secure an 80% refund in the form of credits that can be applied to another course or date. Requests made between 15 and 5 business days before the event will secure a 50% refund as credits. Requests made less than 5 business days before the event are not eligible for a refund.

Please note that any refunds will exclude transaction or bank processing fees charged by payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, or banks), as these fees are non-refundable and outside our control.

If you are unable to attend, a colleague may attend in your place at no additional cost.

If Tourmaline Academy cancels a course or event, you may choose between a full refund or a credit note valid for 12 months. Tourmaline Academy also reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to course content, trainers, or schedules where necessary.

Complaints

We recognize complaints as valid in cases of misleading content, discrepancies in delivery, inappropriate trainer conduct, or unsatisfactory service.

Complaints must be submitted in writing to support@tourmaline-academy.com with enough detail for us to investigate. We will respond within seven business days.

Certificates and Assignments

Certificates of completion are awarded only after successful completion of the required assignments, quizzes, or course criteria. Certificates are issued digitally within five business days and may carry a defined validity period.

Assignments are assessed by our training team and graded pass or fail. Feedback can be provided upon written request.

Intellectual Property

All training materials, course content, and documentation are the property of Tourmaline Academy and its trainers. These materials may not be copied, shared, or used commercially without prior written consent. Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and possible legal action.

Acceptable Use of Website and Platforms

You may not use our website or services in any way that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or that disrupts availability. Prohibited actions include uploading viruses or malicious software, automated data collection without consent, sending spam, or sharing login credentials.

Health and Safety

For in-person events, all participants must comply with the health and safety rules of the venue and Tourmaline Academy. Failure to do so may result in removal from the program without refund.

Hotel Accommodation

Hotel accommodation is not included in the course fee unless specifically stated. A reduced corporate rate and a limited number of rooms may be available for attendees wishing to stay at the event venue. Requests for hotel reservations should be made at least two weeks before the program start. Accommodation is strictly subject to availability, and the hotel’s own terms and conditions will apply.

Force Majeure

Sometimes events outside of our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions, may disrupt our ability to deliver services as planned. In such cases, we will always do our best to support participants with reasonable alternatives.

Liability Disclaimer

We always aim to provide accurate, reliable, and high-quality services. However, our website and programs are offered “as is.” This means we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or specific outcomes.

Tourmaline Academy is not responsible for financial, personal, or business losses that may arise from the use of our services, except where required by law. What we do promise is that we will always act in good faith and support our participants in case of any issues.

Governing Law and Updates

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Tourmaline Academy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by generally applicable laws and international regulations.
